mycreatorfind

Terms of use

Version 2026-09-13. These terms are a binding agreement between you and mycreatorfind. Please read them; the parts that matter most to your money are sections 7 to 10. Questions: [email protected].

1. Who we are and how these terms apply

mycreatorfind (we, us), based in St Kilda, Victoria, Australia, operates the website at www.mycreatorfind.com (the Site). By creating an account, posting a listing, buying a plan, or otherwise using the Site you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy, which forms part of them. If you use the Site on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business, and “you” includes it. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Definitions

Business: a person or entity that posts a Listing. Creator: a person or entity that unlocks Listings. Listing: a Business's post describing what it wants made and what it will give for it. Contact Details: a Business's trading name, contact person, phone number, email address and any address it supplies. Reveal: one unlock of one Listing's Contact Details. Plan: a monthly subscription or the Lifetime Membership under which Reveals are granted. Term: the period a monthly Plan has been paid for. ACL: the Australian Consumer Law in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

3. What the Site is, and what we are not

The Site is an introduction service. Businesses publish Listings; Creators browse them free of charge and may pay to see a Listing's Contact Details; the Creator then contacts the Business directly. That is the whole service. We are not a party to, agent for, or guarantor of any dealing between a Creator and a Business. We do not hold money on anyone's behalf, negotiate, mediate, supervise work, or take any share of what you agree between yourselves. Nothing in these terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment or agency relationship between you and us.

4. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You may hold one account per person or business. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email address; you are responsible for keeping that inbox secure and for everything done through your account, and you must tell us at [email protected] straight away if you believe it has been used without your permission. The details you give us must be accurate and kept up to date. We may refuse, suspend or close an account at our reasonable discretion in accordance with section 15.

5. Businesses and Listings

Posting is free: no listing fee, no subscription, no commission, and we will not introduce one for existing Listings without notice. By posting you expressly consent to your Contact Details being disclosed to each Creator who pays to unlock your Listing, and you acknowledge that this disclosure is the service and cannot be undone once made. We record the time and terms version of that consent. You warrant that you are entitled to speak for the business, that your Listing and Contact Details are true, accurate and not misleading, that you hold any rights needed in what you post, and that your offer is one you intend to honour. You may switch a Listing off at any time; Creators who unlocked it beforehand keep what they paid for. Listings close automatically 60 days after going live unless renewed. We may edit for clarity, hold for review, or remove any Listing that in our reasonable opinion breaches these terms or the law.

6. Creators, Plans and Reveals

Reveals are granted under your Plan as described on the pricing page at the time of purchase, including any monthly allowance, daily limit, rollover period and rollover cap. A Reveal is charged once per Listing and that Listing stays unlocked for you; returning to it costs nothing. Reveals have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for money, transferred, sold or shared, and expire under your Plan's rules. Contact Details are disclosed to you for the sole purpose of contacting that Business about its Listing. You must not share, publish, sell or otherwise disclose them to any third party, use them for unrelated marketing, or scrape, harvest, copy or automate access to the Site. Breach of this section is a material breach that entitles us to end your account immediately without refund.

7. Verification, and no guarantee of a response

Before a Listing can be unlocked we verify at least one of the Business's contact channels — its phone number or its email address, and usually both — by a code the Business must enter, or by our own direct contact with the Business. What we supply on a Reveal is the Contact Details that verified Business gave us, passed on accurately and as current as the Business has kept them. We do not warrant or guarantee that a Business will answer your call, reply to your email, respond within any time, or agree to work with you. Whether and how a Business responds is entirely within the Business's control and outside ours. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no responsibility or liability for a Business failing or declining to respond, and a Business not responding is not a defect in the service, is not a failure of any guarantee we give, and is not a ground for a refund, credit or other remedy. A Reveal purchases the Contact Details and the opportunity to make contact; it does not purchase the Business's attention, time or agreement.

8. Fees, billing, renewal and cancellation

Fees are in Australian dollars, inclusive of GST, as shown on the pricing page, and are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Monthly Plans renew automatically. Each Term is billed in advance and the Plan renews for a further Term at the then-current price until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the Term you have already paid for: you keep the Plan until then, you are not charged again, and the unused part of that Term is not refunded. Reveals already granted remain yours until they expire under your Plan's rules. Moving to a larger Plan mid-Term charges the difference immediately and grants the additional Reveals immediately; moving to a smaller Plan takes effect at the end of the current Term and nothing is clawed back. If a payment fails, your Plan is suspended until it succeeds, and Reveals you already hold keep working. We may change prices; we will give you at least 30 days' notice before a change applies to a Plan you are on, and you may cancel before it takes effect. Initiating a chargeback for a charge that was validly made under these terms is a breach of them.

9. Lifetime Membership

The Lifetime Membership is a single, one-off payment for the monthly allowance of Reveals stated on the pricing page at the time of purchase, with no renewal fee. It is limited in number, offered only while we choose to offer it, and may be withdrawn at any time for new purchasers. “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the Site, not the lifetime of the member. The membership continues for as long as we operate the Site. If we suspend, wind down, sell, or permanently discontinue the Site or the Reveal service, the membership ends at that point and no further Reveals, and no refund or compensation in respect of any later period, are owed. The membership is personal, non-transferable, cannot be held together with a monthly Plan, and — because it is a single payment for an open-ended benefit — is not refundable once the first month's Reveals have been granted, except to the extent the ACL requires otherwise.

10. Refunds and problem Listings

Our refund for a problem Listing is a credit: the Reveal is returned to your balance, because Contact Details once seen cannot be unseen. You may claim it by reporting the Listing from your dashboard within seven days of unlocking it, and we will grant it where, acting reasonably, we find that the phone number or email address we supplied did not work, the Business had ceased trading, or the offer was materially not as described in the Listing. A Business that does not answer, does not reply, declines to work with you, or changes its mind is not a problem Listing (see section 7). Apart from that credit, and apart from your non-excludable rights under the ACL, all fees are non-refundable.

11. Acceptable use

You must not: post anything false, misleading, defamatory, infringing, obscene or unlawful; impersonate any person or business; post a Listing for a business you are not entitled to represent; use the Site to send unsolicited communications; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, data or system; interfere with the Site's operation; reverse-engineer it; scrape, crawl or bulk-extract any data from it; circumvent any limit, verification or payment; or use the Site for any purpose other than the introduction service it provides.

12. Content and intellectual property

You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, reproduce and adapt it as needed to operate, promote and improve the Site, for as long as it is on the Site and for a reasonable period afterwards in backups. Everything else — the Site, its design, code, name, logo and data compilations — is ours or our licensors', and you may not copy or use it except as these terms allow. If you send us feedback we may use it without obligation to you.

13. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy. In particular: a Business's Contact Details are disclosed only to Creators who have paid to unlock that Listing, and we keep a record of every such disclosure; a Creator's email is shown to a Business only if the Creator has turned that on.

14. Third-party services

Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of Stripe, email or SMS carriers, hosting providers or any other third party, except as the law requires.

15. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these terms, if we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse or unlawful conduct, if a payment is charged back, or if required by law. On termination for breach, Reveals and any unexpired Plan period are forfeited without refund. A suspended Business's Listings are removed from the board. You may close your account at any time by contacting [email protected]; sections 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12 and 16 to 20 survive termination.

16. Availability, changes and discontinuance

We aim to keep the Site available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may perform maintenance, change features, or suspend the Site at any time. We may discontinue the Site or any part of it. If we permanently discontinue the Reveal service we will give reasonable notice where practicable; monthly Plans will not renew and will end at the close of the Term already paid for, and Lifetime Memberships end as set out in section 9. We are not liable for any loss arising from unavailability, change or discontinuance, except as the law requires.

17. Consumer guarantees and disclaimers

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the ACL or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified. Subject to that, the Site and the information on it (including Listings and Contact Details, which are supplied by Businesses) are provided “as is”, and we give no warranty that any Listing is accurate, that any Business will respond or contract with you, or that using the Site will produce any particular result or income.

18. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for indirect, consequential or special loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or data, and for any loss arising from your dealings with a Business or Creator, however arising. Where the ACL or other law implies a guarantee or warranty that cannot be excluded, and where it is fair and reasonable to do so, our liability for a breach of it is limited, at our election, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again. Subject to the above, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Site is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

19. Indemnity

You indemnify us against all claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these terms, your Listing or other content, your dealings with any Business or Creator, or your misuse of Contact Details, except to the extent we caused the loss.

20. General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site and replace any earlier understanding. If any part is unenforceable it is severed and the rest continues. A failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to a successor of the Site on notice. Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control, other than an obligation to pay. Notices to you may be sent to the email address on your account; notices to us go to [email protected]. If a dispute arises, contact us first and we will try in good faith to resolve it within 14 days. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts entitled to hear appeals from them.

21. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, the version at the top changes and, for changes that affect your rights or fees, we will notify you by email or on the Site and ask you to accept the new version at your next sign-in. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance. If you do not accept a change, you may cancel under section 8 or close your account.
